2. Selected Data Protection Methods Used by the Operator

  • Login and personal data entry locations are protected at the transmission level (SSL certificate). Thanks to this, personal data and login details entered on the site are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
  • Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the operator with the key can read it. This ensures that the data is protected in case the database is stolen from the server.
  • To protect the data, the operator regularly creates backups.

3. Hosting
The service is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of the operator: lh.pl.
The hosting company maintains logs at the server level to ensure technical reliability. The logs may include:

  • Resources specified by URL identifier (addresses of requested resources – pages, files)
  • Time of request arrival
  • Time of sending the response

  • Information about errors that occurred during the execution of HTTP transactions
  • URL address of the page previously visited by the user (referer link) – if the transition to the service was made via a link

4. Your Rights and Additional Information on How Data is Used

  • Couriers
  • Postal operators
  • Payment operators
  • Authorized employees and associates who use the data to fulfill the purpose of the website’s operation
  • Companies providing marketing services to the Administrator
    Your personal data processed by the Administrator will not be processed longer than is necessary to perform the related activities defined by separate regulations (e.g., accounting regulations). In the case of marketing data, the data will not be processed for more than 3 years.
    You have the right to request from the Administrator:
  • Access to your personal data
  • Their correction
  • Their deletion
  • Limitation of processing
  • Data portability
    You have the right to object to the processing described in point 3.2 regarding the processing of personal data for the legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, but the objection cannot be exercised if there are legally justified grounds for processing, overriding your interests, rights, and freedoms, in particular, establishing, pursuing, or defending claims.
    Actions of the Administrator are subject to a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
    Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to operate the service.
    With respect to you, actions may be taken involving automated decision-making, including profiling, to provide services under the concluded agreement and for direct marketing by the Administrator.
    Personal data is transferred to third countries within the meaning of personal data protection regulations. This means that we send them outside the European Union.

5. Information in Forms
The service collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if provided.
The service may save information about the connection parameters (time, IP address).
In some cases, the service may save information that helps to associate the data in the form with the user’s email address who fills out the form. In such a case, the user’s email address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.
The data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g., to process a service request or business contact, service registration, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly inform what it is used for.

6. Administrator’s Logs
User behavior information on the website may be subject to logging. These data are used for website administration.

7. Important Marketing Techniques

  • The operator uses statistical traffic analysis on the site through Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The operator does not transfer personal data to the operator of this service, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. In terms of user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
  • The operator uses remarketing techniques, which allow adjusting advertising messages to the user’s behavior on the site, which may give the illusion that the user’s personal data is being used for tracking, but in practice, no personal data is transferred from the operator to advertising operators. The technical condition for such actions is the enabled support for cookies.
  • The operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This technology ensures that the service Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) knows that a given person registered there is using the service. In this case, it is based on data for which it is the controller, and the operator does not transfer any additional personal data from itself to the Meta service. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
  • The operator uses a solution that examines user behavior by creating heatmaps and recording user behavior on the page. This information is anonymized before being sent to the service operator, so they do not know which physical person they relate to. Passwords and other personal data are not recorded.
  • The operator uses a solution automating the operation of the service concerning users, e.g., sending an email to the user after visiting a specific subpage, provided that the user has consented to receive commercial correspondence from the operator.

8. Information About Cookies
The service uses cookies.
Cookies (so-called “cookies”) are IT data, in particular, text files that are stored on the user’s end device and are intended for using the websites of the service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the storage time on the end device, and a unique number.
The entity placing cookies on the user’s end device and accessing them is the operator of the service.
Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • Maintaining the session of the service user (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the service;
  • Implementing the purposes described above in the “Important Marketing Techniques” section;
    The service uses two basic types of cookies: “session” (session cookies) and “permanent” (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the user’s end device until they log out, leave the website, or turn off the web browser (internet browser). “Permanent” cookies are stored on the user’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until the user deletes them.
    Web browsing software (internet browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the user’s end device by default. Users of the service can change the settings in this regard. The internet browser allows the deletion of cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this can be found in the help or documentation of the internet browser.
    Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the websites of the service.
    Cookies placed on the user’s end device may also be used by entities cooperating with the operator of the service, in particular, this applies to:
  • Google Ireland Limited for Google Ads and Google Analytics services;
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for Facebook and Instagram services.
